The heavy-duty roller chain, sprockets, and roller bearings are exceptionally strong, and the phosphor bronze bearings can take whatever you can dish out. Thermostatically protected motors, machined alloy gearing, and spring-loaded electric brakes make our towboat winches a study in strength. We offer 208V or 230/460V 3- phase, 60Hz high-torque motors, with other voltages, and special marine motors available.
Safety is one of Cnmhe’s most important hallmarks with other electric clutch winch. Our towboat winches feature manual locking dogs for emergency backup use. Careful design ensures easier operation—which can reduce accidents. Our winches also feature bolted keeper plates for fast, easy shaft removal.

Heavy Duty winches are available in capacities up to 6,500 pounds for lifting or pulling applications.  They are designed with machine cut hardened worm and spur gears enclosed in an oil bath, electrically released brake, single phase or three phase motors, and self-aligning flange style ball bearings.  Alternative accessories include cable pressure bars, limit switches, grooved drums, manual overrides, and modified drum widths.  Standard design is base mounted but can be modified for wall or ceiling installation.

The flux vector drive converts the input power to a variable frequency AC output with full field and armature control to drive a fully sealed zero maintenance AC motor. The controls are all solid state and permit infinitely variable speed from 2% to 100% of the maximum rated RPM while providing full torque at any RPM down to zero This feature allows full rated cable tension control at zero speed. This control feature also permits direct heave compensation (when supplied with an optional heave sensor) and bottom following which can be controlled by a tow body height above bottom using input from a bottom sensor. Other drive options include direct synchronous or 2 speed AC motors, direct DC or AC supply with SCR controlled DC output driving a DC traction type motor on the winch. These systems have microprocessor based controls similar to the flux vector drives with similar features.
